The West London Reef Club has been running for about 4 and a half years now.

We cover the (very) rough area of West/South West London e.g. Heathrow, Chiswick, Isleworth, Greenford, Twickenham etc, but have members further out e.g. Croydon, Hemel Hempstead and even Brighton ! If you’re willing to travel to our meetings on a reasonably regular basis (i.e. don’t be a stranger!), then you are very welcome to join up.

We usually meet up once a month, mostly at a member’s house to gawp at their tank(s) have a drink and a good old chat ! Additionally, frags, corals and dry goods are swapped/bought/sold amongst members.

We also arrange meetings at LFS’ in the area periodically - e.g. Tropicals and Marines, STM, Reefstock etc and usually make a point of visting the annual STM open evening.

Regular bulk buys are arranged for club members - dry goods and sometimes livestock (clean up crew etc).

Meetings are arranged via posts online, and emails are sent. We also have a Facebook group and meetings are added as events on Facebook, with members of the group invited via there too. See the links page for more information.

The current email list of members is over 50 people. We have an excellent mix of skills and knowledge within the group including lighting experts, SPS-heads, Softy-freaks, LPS-lovers, Chemistry boffins and so on. There is ALWAYS someone ready to help another in the group with any issues or emergencies they might have, and to offer sound advice and experience.
